How to use Golden Ratio for Aesthetic Body?

"The Golden Scale is a scale of proportions which makes the bad difficult and the good easy" - Albert Einstein

What is the Golden Ratio?

In mathematics, two quantities are said to be in the Golden Ratio, if their ratio is the same as the ratio of their sum to the larger of the two quantities. Algebraically, if you have two numbers, A and B, it has to be such that (A + B) divided by A = A divided by B. It’s been used in geometry, art, architecture, nature, etc. for hundreds of years. Some good examples are egyptian pyramids, human body, trees, plants, painting of 'Monalisa', etc.

Golden Ratio is approximatly equal to 1.618

Using the Golden Ratio for Aesthetic body:

We know that ‘Golden Ratio’ symmetry is more appealing to the eyes as when it’s been used in art it creates 'Monalisa'. Similarly, if it is understood and implied correctly then it plays a vital role in physical appearance of the body - Male and Female. The same is also directly linked with attraction when a body is in that ‘Magical’ ratio.

Golden Ratio for Male:

As we all already know that an attractive male physique is when he bears a strong V-shaped torso i.e. broad Shoulder and thin Waist. But, what should be the symmetry between both? This can be determined by the Golden Ratio. For eg., Adam has a waist of 28 inches and then he has to grow his Shoulders to 45.3 inches. Similarly, if Adam had shoulders of 47 inches then, accordingly he has to work his waist to 29 inches. Meeting these generated measurements one is said to have achieved the Golden Ratio.

Golden Ratio for Female:

Through various researches and surveys, it has been evident that the most appealing and attractive physique, or figure, of a woman, is an 'Hour-Glass". For women, the measurement is related between the chest, waist, and hips. So, for eg., if Eve has a waist of 24 inches then to be in Hour-Glass symmetry her chest and hips have to measure 42 inches. But, bear in mind that in practice, people tended to prefer a figure slightly less than this and this becomes a hard number to achieve. So, the golden ratio for a woman's body measurement is probably somewhere in the range of 1.3 to 1.5. As per this, Eve's new chest and hips measurement are to be in a range of 34 to 39 inches to appear aesthetically hour-glass.

Therefore, using the Golden Ratio one can attain an attractive and aesthetic physique. But, remember this cannot be achieved in one day. Hence, by working on your body you can attain the golden symmetry one day and the number closer to the symmetry makes you more attractive and appealing.
