It is a great sounding piano and a beautiful piece too! I sent a video of myself playing on it to my relatives and they didn't believe me that it was an electric piano! When you play, the feel is also like an upright piano so I can play my classical pieces the way I am used to. Sam Ash representative was a pleasure to work with and gave us space so I could try out the electric piano options and came to us when we wanted clarification about some differences.

This is an outstanding electric piano with a good number of built-in features and a beautiful sound. Ideally suited to the beginner and advanced players alike. For the beginner it may be interfaced easily with a tablet (iPad) for tuition applications.

I assembled the piano. Needed my husband’s help to carry some heavy parts up to our office (up a spiral staircase).

The Yamaha YDP S35 digital piano sounds lovely and looks really nice.

Love that the cover also closes very gently.

I wanted to play the piano again after a 25+ year hiatus and I didn't want the weight and trouble of a regular piano. I looked at several places and several keyboards and I hit the jackpot with this one. Love it. Only issue is I need to buy a headphone adapter as the headphone jack plug-in is larger than what goes with my headphones. When buying, make sure to ask about that, don't assume it will fit. You will love this machine!
