We have a 35 foot boat and going to foredeck sets off the alarm. Setting up and using is easy but a little frustrating if you want to name the tags as it appeared to be asking to rename the tags each time you use them. This may be deliberate if different crew each time but frustrating if you assign a tag to one person for a holiday boarding and leaving the boat.

Excellent item. Does exactly what it says on the tin.
