I have been "in and out of love" with this tracker since I got it about a week ago. At first, I couldn't seem to get an accurate reading on my location. It was showing the unit to be 'miles' from my actual location. I started tinkering with the unit a little and trying to read up on as much that google and Youtube have available on the operations of this thing. The APP is still sketchy for me and I have found no real good information on how to use it to its fullest potential. So, I've been testing it. Yesterday, it tracked me from home to work with no problem at all. The speed alarm set for 45 mph went off as did the initial 'on the move' alarm. Checking the history, it mapped me flawlessly and then placed me about a meter from my actual parking location. This morning, not so much the same level of performance. It did not alert to my movement or speed until I got several miles from home when it finally started to track me. The battery life indicator on the APP doesn't seem to be all that accurate. It was showing me at 100% this morning and the unit was 'ON" and sending updates every 5 minutes all night long. I would give it 3.5 stars if possible but, for me, there is a lingering 'reliability' concern. Perhaps with more experience I will 'master' the APP and learn the ins-outs ofthis unit in which case I will gladly give it 4.75 stars.

Trackimo makes absolute junk. I had 2 of these units, both failed within months of gentle care. The second one, after a YEAR AND A HALF, is still in Trackimo's possession. They keep promising to look into it, and once mentioned they might be able to get me a discount on a new device 'for my trouble', but I paid $140 for this unit, it failed well within the warranty period, and Trackimo just drags their feet. NONODY EVER answers their tech support line. Try it yourself: (646) 626-6111. There are MUCH better trackers that work better, longer, smaller profile, and from better companies. Trackimo is the bottom of the barrel. If you are trying to find something worth tracking, it's worth tracking it with something better than Trackimo.

Make sure your serial number starts with a "3". It will use the 3G network then. 2G models start with a "2" and are not useable in most of the United States.

Great price on a Trackimo GPS Locator. Recommend for drone owners. Purchased a holder for Navic Pro. Now I'm not going to lose my Mavic.
