Trump’s nominee for Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, has spend most of his life deeply involved in two institutions – ExxonMobil and the Boy Scouts – which have been guility of gross negligence and crimes of the sort which impacts generations of innocents.

The Boy Scouts released their “perversion files” in 2012, shortly after Tillerson’s tenure as National President seems to have ended. Files were released by the Boy Scouts only because a court order forced them to do so. Tillerson had continued to serve on the executive board. Release of files was not willingly, as Reuters reported on Thu Oct 18, 2012, “Boy Scout files reveal long history of child sex abuse cases.” Furthermore, many files give a number rather than the name of the abuser, and parts of documents are redacted.

Whistleblowers, journalists, and Congressional Assistants need to get busy seriously and thoroughly investigating Rex Tillerson and his relationship to Boy Scout Sex Abuse (pedophile) cases.

If you are a victim of Tillerson, can testify to his complicity in abuse, or have any related information on this topic, you need to urgently contact journalists (e.g. the LA Times) in order to get the word out before his confirmation hearings as Secretary of State. A logical place to start would be by contacting kim.christensen@latimes.com, who is listed as a contact on the LA Times database “Inside the ‘perversion files“. You need to contact Congress, especially the US Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, and especially those known to be opposed to Tillerson prior to January 11th: http://www.foreign.senate.gov. If the LA Times won’t pick up your story choose another news outlet.

Hearings on Tillerson should not be rushed through as planned. He needs to be thoroughly investigated and grilled on both this and on his ties to President Putin.

Why is there no list, or not one easily found, telling which Boy Scout troops Rex Tillerson has been affiliated with in conjunction with a timeline? Someone needs to obtain and outline which troops (and camps, etc.) he has been affiliated with, his role in each, establish a time-line, and then frame them in the context of the Boy Scout “Perversion Files”. Demands should be made to the Boy Scouts to open up more material. Who are they covering for when they only give case numbers for the abusers and not names?

In the state of Texas alone, there are 164 “perversion” case files (1981-2004) where the apparent perpetrator is unnamed and given only an ID number, along with 5 from 1953-1959. They were all named between 1960 and 1980 for whatever reasons – most likely legal action. The dates given are when the files were created, not when the abuse occurred.

In Wichita Falls Texas, birthplace of Tillerson, alone, there were 5 cases with unnamed perpetrators reported in the 1990s. These were at “Camp”, Troop 17, Troop 1, Troop 232 and Venturing 6261. See “Inside the ‘perversion files’Tracking decades of allegations in the Boy Scouts“, by Los Angeles Times Staff, Oct. 18, 2012 “This database contains information on about 5,000 men and a handful of women who were expelled from the Boy Scouts of America between 1947 and January 2005 on suspicion of sexual abuse… The data are derived from confidential Scouting files submitted as evidence in court cases.http://spreadsheets.latimes.com/boyscouts-cases The LA Times appears to have a strong commitment to exposing pedophiles where-ever they are found. The original source of the information seems to be from this law firm, however, where even more information can be found. It may be the best place for a victim to start, and possibly for whistleblowers: http://www.boyscoutssexualabuse.com/boy-scout-perversion-files

A rare piece of information on Tillerson and the Boy Scouts: “In the late 1960s and early 1970s, Rex Tillerson spent his summers with the Boy Scouts of America as aquatics director at Camp Strake, about 35 miles north of Houston.http://aanirfan.blogspot.com/2016/12/mysterious-rex-tillerson.html. Camp Strake appears to have been located at Conroe Texas, at the time.

Regarding Wichita Falls Texas: “Dec. 9, 1961, 11-year-old Andy Sims vanished,… One person reported seeing someone who matched Andy’s description at the Boy Scout Hut near Lake Wichita about 3 p.m. Dec. 9, just a few hours after Andy left his house… Andy was a Tenderfoot the first rank in Scouting and new to Boy Scout Troop 22, of which Bill Fortune was the cubmaster.” “Questions linger 47 years after boy vanished in N. Texas: 47 years later, boy’s disappearance remains a mystery” by Jessica Langdon, Wichita Falls Times Record News, Saturday, December 27, 2008

One can find that Tillerson has been affiliated with the Circle Ten Council and has served on its executive board. The date is vague however – when he moved to Dallas. But, when did he go to Dallas? It seems to have been sometime between 1975 and 1989. His career with Exxon started in 1975. There is at least one person named in the “perversion files”, Tommy Speed, who is listed as a “Camp Ranger” for the Circle Ten Council. There appears to have been at least some overlap between Tillerson and Speed’s affiliation with the Circle Ten Council.

While certainly homosexuals are not necessarily pedophiles, there are pedophiles who engage in homosexual activity with minors and even young children. Tommy Speed seems to have preyed on the most desperate. He was a Scout Master for a unit associated with the “Dallas Co. Boys’ Home” from 1977 to 1980 (along with Green Oaks Meth. Church from 1960-76). He took in foster children and was formally accused of abuse by at least one. He reportedly had a pattern of luring in children-teens in desperate conditions. It appears certain that he engaged in a similar pattern as Scout Master for the Dallas Co. Boys’ Home. He is reported to have tolerated theft from the Boy Scouts by at least one boy he kept in his permanent cabin at a Boy Scout camp.

In the context of Rex Tillerson condoning homosexuals in the Boy Scout movement it is noteworthy that Tommy Speed – who was a pedophile because he reportedly attacked boys – at least one of whom was 14 years old – is listed by the Boy Scouts as having had a “homosexual relationship with one or more individuals“. William C. Gamble, Scout Executive, stated that they had “substantial evidence of this“, though Tommy Speed denied that he was a homosexual. He served as a Camp Ranger for one decade and seems to have lived on the camp premises at the Camp Rangers house, from which he was told to remove his possessions, after having been allowed to simply retire. They even paid him for vacation he was due and seemingly was to get his pension, as well!

It is noteworthy that James Baker, Secretary of State under Bush Sr., has spoken favorably of Tillerson. Under Bush Sr., there were multiple accusations of human trafficking, probably of minors. This is about alleged male call-boys: “Homosexual prostitution inquiry ensnares VIPs with Reagan, Bush
‘Call boys’ took midnight tour of White House“, by Paul M. Rodriguez and George Archibald, The Washington Times, June 29, 1989. http://www.wanttoknow.info/890629washingtontimesfranklin. In this period, the Washington Times was still owned by the Moonies-Unification Church. Nonetheless, they did serious research about the Boy Scout pedophile cases, as discussed below. Additionally, State Department provision of virgin girls to visiting Middle Eastern officials was also alleged by a former hotel manager around the period when James Baker was Secretary of State. Even if true, however, it does not prove that he was aware.

Both Rex Tillerson, and his father before, have been involved in Boy Scouts for decades. This suggests that they are involved in either being too incompetent to notice what was going on, complicity through silence, probable cover-up (documents were gotten through legal action). It is also possible that they themselves were involved in pedophile activities but there is no known evidence pointing in this direction. But, especially since we can find almost nothing about the troops Tillerson was involved with, lack of evidence proves nothing at this point. Thus, the government and journalists need to demand transparency in these matters and need to do the research.

From Wikipedia:
There were nearly 2,000 reported cases of abuse within the Boy Scouts of America prior to 1994, and at least one abuse incident as recent as 2006.[2][3]

In May 1991, the Washington Times published a major five-part investigation entitled “Scouts Honor” on sex abuse in the BSA. Staff from the newspaper had worked for two years preparing the series, reviewing internal and personnel records from the Boy Scouts; court records from more than 20 states; and more than 1,000 newspaper articles; as well as interviewing more than 200 people, including molesters, families of victims, Scout leaders, sex abuse experts and lawyers. The newspaper restricted itself to reported cases of male Scout leaders abusing Boy Scouts before the introduction of its Youth Protection program. In summation, they wrote “The Boy Scouts are a magnet for men who want to have sexual relations with children…Pedophiles join the Scouts for a simple reason: it’s where the boys are.”[4]
The series drew on three sources:
* Historical “confidential files” (formerly known as the “Ineligible Volunteer Files”) within Scout records, with details on 231 Scout leaders banned from Scouting for sexual misconduct from 1975 through 1984.
* 50 lawsuits against the Scouts by families of molested boys from around the US.
* A list from the BSA of more than 350 men banned for sexual misconduct from 1971 to 1986.
The newspaper discovered that 1,151 Scouts reported being abused by their leaders during the studied 19-year period, mostly before the implementation of the Youth Protection Plan. They published a detailed list of 416 cases from 1971–1990 where a US Scout leader was arrested or banned from Scouting for sexual abuse of Scouts, adding that experts said the real number of abusers and victims was probably several times higher. The newspaper articles later formed the basis for a book by the main journalist involved, Patrick Boyle: Scout’s Honor: Sexual Abuse in America’s Most Trusted Institution
.

Since the 1920s, the BSA has maintained a highly confidential set of “ineligible volunteer” files, nicknamed the “perversion files”.[21] On October 19, 2012, the Boy Scouts of America were forced by court order to release over 20,000 pages of documentation on 1200 alleged child sexual abuse cases within the organization, covering the time period from 1965 to 1985.[22]

It has been alleged that BSA may have helped cover-up the abuse cases, sometimes with the aid of police and other officials, “to protect the good name and good works of Scouting.”[23] The reports showed incidents where accused abusers were allowed to continue in the Scouts, and in more than a third of the cases covered in the documents, information about the allegations were not passed on to police.[23]
A recently released letter by a Louisiana BSA executive to the BSA’s national personnel division revealed: “This subject and Scouts were not prosecuted to save the name of Scouting.” [23][24] The files revealed cases of collusion between the BSA and the Justice System, as in a 1962 Johnston PA case[25] where a BSA leader pleaded guilty to “serious morals” violations involving Scouts. A local Scouting executive learned of the abuse from a member of the local executive board who served as both mayor and police chief. Newspapers failed to report the connection to the scouts because, as the executive wrote to BSA national’s personnel division in explanation, “No mention of Scouting was involved in the case in as much as two of the three judges who pronounced sentence are members of our Executive Board”.[26] Among the files include a 1972 BSA executive writing “I would like to let this case drop … One father has threatened legal action which could only injure the Boy Scouts of America. My personal opinion in this particular case is, ‘If it don’t stink, don’t stir it.’” [27][28]
Supporters of the BSA are quick to point out that the cases discussed in the files occurred prior to 1985. Critics, meanwhile, point out that as of 2012, the BSA has refused to release those files dating from after 1985.[29] A Texas judge has ordered the release of the post-1985 files, but the BSA is currently in the process of appealing to avoid that release.[29] A Minnesota district judge has also ordered the released.[30] A California judge has similarly ordered the release of more files, and the California state supreme court has denied an appeal from the BSA.[31] A BSA spokesman commented that “The BSA believes confidentiality of the Files helps to encourage prompt reporting of abuse”[32]
