Fabulous Fours comp - Play-offs Round 1 entry thread

First round of play-offs - 4 teams get the week-off - no need to post.  Enjoy the little freshen-up and we'll see you back next week!

1.  Either pick two horses in each race - you will have $10 each way on both and a $2 quinella; or if you'd prefer to pick just one horse in any (or all of the races) you can do that and you will have $20 each way on that one runner,  but you will forego the quinella.

2.  You will have two best bet races where your bet is doubled.  They can be any two of the 12 races listed below.

Posting deadline this week is 2.00pm

This weeks 12 races are as follows.  Fantastic day of racing at Randwick, so that's our focus - let's hope it doesn't get too wet.

With the rain forecast in Sydney I just want to remind you of the following rule:

 

Abandoned races - there needs to be a minimum of 6 races run for a round to stand.  Less than 6 races and the results of that round will be null and void.  If that happens on Saturday we will push everything back one week.

If 6 or less races are abandoned in any round you can change Best bet races up until the posting deadline.  After the posting deadline a best bet on an abandoned race is just the rub of the green.

When these teams met in Pool play:

Veandercross vs Horlicks - Week 11 (last week) - a very close match with Veandercross getting up for a narrow 3-2 win - Howie (RFT) the difference maker in this one.

Melody Belle vs Avantage - you have to go all the way back to Week 1 where Melody Belle won 4-1 in a low scoring match - Arjay excelled that day.

Rough Habit vs Mr Tiz - in Week 2 Rough Habit won easily (5-0) and found themselves second on the table at that point.  "Where did it all go wrong Mr Best?"

Imperatriz vs Showgate - Week 9 around the time of Showgate's revival (jockey left her with too much to do), and Showgate beat Imperatriz 5-0.`  (Imperatriz did put up their lowest weekly tally that day).
