Clear sound, comfortable and great for gaming
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Turtle Beach Recon 200 really delivers on an immersive gaming experience.
I own a pair of Turtle Beach Recon 50P's and while a nice beginner's headset, the Recon 200's are a great upgrade that I didn't know I wanted.
Sound Quality:
When the headset is charged and turned on you get noise cancelling, crystal clear amplified audio and boosted bass. You can literally hear footsteps and which direction they are coming from, it makes you feel like you're in the game!
Comfortable and Glasses friendly:
I guess I never noticed how uncomfortable wearing glasses with a headset were until I wore them with these and they weren't pushing into the sides of head. The memory foam ear pads make these able to be worn for hours and not get sweaty and aching ears.
Mic:
The Flip-to-Mute mic is a nice touch. The Variable Mic Monitoring lets you hear your own voice, which is great for a soft spoken person like myself, who has a problem with my party not hearing me unless I'm "eating the mic".
Battery:
The battery takes about 2 hours to fully charge and lasts me through several gaming sessions. With a longer cord, you can also charge them while using them. I would like there to be an auto-off feature, as I forget to turn them off and waste the battery, but that's more on me and I'm not sure how the headset would know your not using them. They can be used without being turned on, but the difference in sound is noticeable.
Overall a very nice mid-priced headset. Clear sound, cool usable features and comfortable.

Great sound

Very nice, clear sound that makes the gameplay even more immersive. The mic also has great quality. Overall a good durable, top of the line headset.

Works great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had these headphones for a little bit now. They work really well with their intended purpose, that is when plugged into a console controller. Specifically I use them with my Playstation 4. There is literally no setup, you just plug in and play. The only draw back is if you are going to use them for something other than the controller, the cord is a little short. The sound that comes through is really good and is at its best when charged. The audio is still decent when not charged. The ear pieces are comfortable; and it is overall light weight. I would definitely recommend this product.

I was excited to give him this headset to try out! I love the look of the headset and I love that it has a microphone. The audio works well and it feels very comfortable wearing on your head! Playing games for hours makes it easier with this headset being comfortable.

Turtle Beach for the Win !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once again turtle beach has made an awesome product with a very reasonable price. I have been using these headset for my gaming on the desktop. The sound is very much amplified and gives you a very realistic gamin experience. The mic has clear audio and I have no experienced any issues. After wearing them for several hours, I did not notice any discomfort as well !

Not too expensive but works great

Good headset.

Wish I could afford a truly wireless unit but until then having these only needing one cored and having great battery life to support the rest of headset is great.

Great for kids!

The sound is great and they also work nicely with tablets. The only complaint was that when the microphone piece was down, their voices echoed and you could hear all the background noise through the mic into the headphones.

Comfortable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I got these in a few days ago and finally got them the chance to try them out last night. I can say they’re really comfortable and fit just right aim my head but there is a small issue. The echo from the microphone; I was finally able to set down and use them for gaming online last night. The mic is to close to the face causing an echo like a really bad one. Other than that they’re really good and super comfortable headphones. The battery holds a charge like it’s supposed to.
