Restylane® Kysse Lip Filler Injections

The New Lip Filler and Lip Lines Treatment in the Las Vegas Area

Dr. Rueckl is a noted expert in the use of non-surgical injectables – including Restylane Kysse lip filler – with offices in Las Vegas, NV.

What is Restylane Kysse?

Restylane Kysse is a hyaluronic acid filler from the Restylane family of products. FDA-approved in April 2020 and released in May 2020, Restylane Kysse is used for lip enhancement and correction of upper lip lines. This hyaluronic acid gel filler has been approved and used in Europe and Canada for several years prior to its introduction stateside.

Where can Restylane Kysse be used?

Restylane Kysse is approved for treatment around in and in the lip area. This new hyaluronic acid gel filler is used to correct perioral lip lines, enhance lip shape and structure, and improve the corners of the mouth.

What are the benefits of Restylane Kysse?

Treatment with Restylane Kysse to the lip improved lip smoothness, texture, and fine lines. Following treatment, lips had a measurable increase in redness.

How long does Restylane Kysse last?

Restylane Kysse is FDA-approved for up to 48 weeks duration. In the FDA clinical trial, approximately 2/3 of physicians and almost 80% of patients appreciated a noticeable improvement in the lips almost 1 year following treatment and a touch-up. It is important to note that the lips are a very active area (like around the month) and lip enhancement may last closer to 6-12 months in “real-life” use.

Does Restylane Kysse look natural in the lips?

Restylane Kysse integrates into the area of placement extremely well, lending this filler to a very natural result in expert hands. Dr. Rueckl tailors lip filler placement and selection to individual patient needs, always striving for lip enhancement that addresses aging changes, enhances beautiful features, and restores lip fullness, symmetry, and proportion.

What makes Restylane Kysse different from other hyaluronic acid fillers?

Restylane Kysse is the third Restylane filler product to use XpresHAn technology. This technology imparts flexibility and structure to the filler. In areas such as the lips, flexibility, and support allows the filler to look natural with motion such as eating or talking. XpresHAn technology means that Restylane Kysse blends well with the lip tissue, and has long-lasting results. In the FDA trial, over 60% of study subjects had no side effects following placement of Restylane Kysse in the lips, and swelling is typically mild following injection.

How much downtime is there following Restylane Kysse treatment?

There is typically mild to minimal swelling following Restylane Kysse placement in the lips. While individual results may vary, most patients experience minimal to mild swelling for a day or two. Most patients can resume daily social activities on the same day.

What is the cost of Restylane Kysse?

The price of Restylane Kysse ranges by the amount of lip restoration to be accomplished. Typical price ranges for Restylane Kysse placement is approximately $700-$1000 per syringe, although prices may vary.

What is lip injection with Restylane Kysse like? Does Kysse hurt?

Lips are one of the more sensitive facial areas to address. However, Dr. Rueckl takes measures to minimize discomfort during lip treatment.

Discomfort is mild during Restylane Kysse filler placement. Restylane Kysse is supplied with lidocaine already mixed into the hyaluronic acid filler itself, making the area numb as the mouth area is treated. Dr. Rueckl cares about patient comfort, and he provides various other means of increasing patient ease during the procedure. Comfort measures include topical numbing, localized numbing blocks if desired (dental block), and an ice pack, which is also provided to the patient for home use. With these pain mitigating measures, Restylane Kysse treatment is well-tolerated.

What are the possible side effects of Restylane Kysse?

In the clinical trial, over 60% of patients receiving Restylane Kysse for lip enhancement had no side effects following treatment. Adverse events are typically mild in nature. The most common and expected possible side effects include swelling and bruising. Like any injectable filler, there is a chance of other possible side effects including pain or soreness at the injection site, or allergic reaction. Serious complications, such as vessel compromise, stroke, or blindness is exceedingly rare but theoretically possible.

I Love This Place!

I love this place. My first step in their office, I was like, whoa! It’s beautiful! I was sent here by the VA for some skin issues and the doctors here are truly amazing. He listens to every single complaint I’ve had without any judgment and is very positive about my treatment plan! Even the nurses and ladies behind the desks were super friendly. I definitely recommend this place!!

Does The Best Lips!

Does the best lips! He’s also a really skilled injector. I don’t even think he numbed me, but I barely felt anything. It was nice not to do a dental block. He gave me the exact (natural) look I was going for. Not obviously fake at all but I DID get compliments on my lips from a few of my doctor friends!

The Best Doctor Ever!

The best Doctor ever! I’ve been dealing with rosacea for years and he was the only doctor who really help me. Im really glad that i find this amazing person he’s so kind, professional humble
