On the western shores of Loch Ness, Drumnadrochit is a lovely village that is popular with those hunting for the famous monster. The village's attractions include the Loch Ness Centre and Nesslieland, with plenty to interest both young and old alike.
There's plenty to explore around the village on foot. You can discover both Glen Urquhart, Glen Moriston and Balmacaan – the ancient woodland that overlooks the village.June 20, 2022
Pretty village right by Urquhard Castle on Loch Ness. From here the monster "Nessie" can be admired again and again when it paddles laps through the lake.
