Beautifully situated remains of the Urquhart castle on the Loch Ness. It is 3km from village of Drumnadrochit and the walk from the village to castle is very scenic.

As we walked down from Drumnadrochit to Urquhart Castle which is a 3km walk, the scenery was fantastic, It was a cloudy day and the walk along the loch ness was amazing. Here is a view of Loch ness surrounded by hills and meadows. The scenery is breathtaking. The 3km walk was the highlight. Glad that we didnt drive down.
