Catherine Zeta-Jones's Daughter Rewore One of Her Mom's '90s Red Carpet Looks

Catherine Zeta-Jones's lookalike daughter, Carys Douglas, is celebrating a very special milestone with a little help from her mother's iconic wardrobe. On Sunday, Douglas shared a photo dump from her 21st birthday festivities, during which she wore one of her famous mom's throwback looks.

In the roundup, Douglas can be seen blowing out candles on her birthday cake, being lifted on a chair by friends, and modeling the dusty rose silk and lace dress that Zeta-Jones wore to the 1999 MTV Movie Awards. Other snaps captured her boyfriend planting a kiss on her cheek, Douglas cuddling with her friends in a grass field, and a beautiful bouquet of flowers.

"The most perfect 21st I could ask for! 🌸," Carys, whom Zeta-Jones shares with husband Michael Douglas, captioned the roundup. "You deserve it, sweetheart ❤️," her actress mother wrote in the comments section.

Zeta-Jones first wore the Ungaro slip dress during the awards show with metallic rose gold heels and a shimmery silver baguette purse. The pink dress featured spaghetti straps, sheer lace paneling along the neckline and skirt, and bedazzled flower detailing.

The actress's hair was styled in a side part and voluminous curls, a look that Carys recreated for her party.

Both of Carys's parents, who also share a son Dylan, commemorated her birthday with sweet Instagram tributes. Zeta-Jones shared two throwback photos and a striking selfie of the 21-year-old. "Happy Birthday to my beautiful daughter @carys.douglas," she wrote. "You are the joy of my life. 21 years of watching you blossom into the most incredible woman you are today is a God-given gift that I never take for granted and cherish every day of my life. Thank you for being you. I love you with all my heart, Mama."

For his part, Douglas posted an adorable photo of the two at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, where Douglas (who has another son, Cameron, from his previous marriage to Diandra Luker) was honored with the Palme d'Or award. "Happy 21, my darling Carys! You bring me and the world such happiness," he captioned the Instagram.
