Gigny-sur-Saône

While strolling in the commune, you will be able to admire the church of the hamlet of Epervière of neoroman style and built in the course of the XIXth century, or the castle of Gigny today occupied by an EHPAD. Château de l'Épervière is not lacking in interest. Private property not open to the public, it has been listed as an historic monument.

But Gigny-sur-Saône is especially appreciated for its fluvial activity, in particular thanks to its nautical stop allowing the boats going up the Saone to take a break to appreciate the surroundings.

Marked hiking trails are also present to appreciate the town and its landscapes.

On certain weekends, the fartfelien association bar, at 6 rue du Pont, is open from 7 p.m. and offers local drinks, snacks and shows or concerts.

• Singing about joy, love and freedom ! When Kétane take to the stage, it's to experience a moment of happiness, rebellion and sharing. Their French lyrics come to life in songs that are warmly hummed around the fire, then reworked with a rock sauce to be played live on stage. Festive rhythms, saturated sounds and toum-tac ! The blue route, a route along the Saône, connects Mâcon to Chalon-sur-Saône and allows walks or bike rides.
