A monochrome portrait of a young man staring hypnotically at the camera has been crowned our latest 'Photo of the week' (POTW).
There's not one bit that we didn't like about this portrait - it's strong, gritty, punchy and over the top in all of the right ways. The strong stance and intense pose combined with the interesting editing is something we couldn't ignore and even though the whole shot is monochrome, the subject still manages to pop from the frame thanks to the way the background has been edited. It's intense, in your face and dripping with emotion - well done Koen Pieters, it's a definite winner.
