Wayne and Janie married on March 22, 1965. This year they celebrated 58 years together. During that time he worked as a professional welder and steel fabricator until he retired in 2011. Wayne and Janie are the proud parents of three daughters, Angela, Jennifer and Kimberly.
Wayne enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He always looked forward to hunting seasons to spend time with his father, family and friends. Wayne cherished his children and grandchildren. He outwardly showed his love and support in all things the children were involved in. He cheered on each one of them with words of encouragement in their activities and through the daily walk of life. Wayne was a proud leader in Awanas and enjoyed teaching children about Jesus.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Jearl and Marjorie. He is survived by his wife, Janie, his three daughters, Angela Wellinghoff, Jennifer Patton and husband, Paul, and Kimberly Martinson and husband, Jay, grandchildren, Gregory Wellinghoff II, Shelby Walker, Sierra Martinson, Brittany Adams and Luke Martinson, sister, Sue Ross, brother, David Judd and wife, Becky, many nieces, nephews and extended family that he loved dearly.
The family would love to send a very heartfelt thank you to Wayne's sister, Sue. She spent countless hours by his side through all his health issues. Her support through visiting, watching TV with Wayne, bringing him coffee and tending to many of his daily needs was just an example of how much she loved her brother. Janie and the girls would like everyone to know how appreciative we are to Sue and the blessing she has been to us and Wayne.
