Best friends think alike: Alexa Chung and fellow fashion icon Daisy Lowe wear matching cut-off shorts
She’s a model, TV presenter and fashion icon who is used to making an effort with her unique style.
But Alexa Chung was laid back and make-up free as she strolled with fellow model Daisy Lowe.
Like many best friends, they revealed a similar dress sense as they walked in New York’s Soho on Friday.

They looked the picture of health as they enjoyed the sun, wearing strikingly similar outfits with cut-off denim shorts.
While Alexa, 29, chose a boyish checked shirt, Daisy, 24, went for a simple grey T-shirt accessorised with a delicate long silver necklace.
Alexa wore a pair of classic ballerinas for the stroll, while Daisy also went for comfortable footwear, wearing a pair of biker boots.

They both protected their eyes from the bright sun, with Alexa wearing tortoiseshell rimmed cateye sunglasses and Daisy in Jackie O style shades with darker lenses.
Alexa also carried a cute satchel type handbag, while Daisy wore a backpack slung over both shoulders.
The friends also put their own stamp on their manicures, with Daisy sporting a distinctive purple polish and Alexa going for a natural look.

Their hair was loose and a little unkempt on the stroll, with the models perhaps making the most of their time off-duty.

Daisy is meanwhile modelling for Free People‘s new line of underwear.
The busy friends may have been taking time out to relax after both attended the launch of Henry Holland’s latest collection in New York this week.
