Beautiful area of Scotland, surrounded by mountains. Saw many hikers enjoying their time here. Lovely little inn with a nice size room, comfortable bed and good shower. Bonus chocolates in room were a nice touch. Downstairs is a lovely pub full of folk enjoying life, but quieted down nicely as the evening went on. We booked dinner at their restaurant too and it was very good, and hopping! Included breakfast which was well prepared and kindly served.

We liked the setting of the lodge with views of the surrounding hills. We very much appreciated the hosts, who spent time telling us about the area, their experience and recommendations, and certainly Robbie's excellent cooking, both breakfast and dinner. We had a nice hike directly from the house as well as from Killin, which was also had good places to eat.

Friendly, humorous staff. Delicious food. Fabulous location - wide open fields, roaming sheep and cattle, purple flowers all around. All you need to do is walk out the door and start wandering.

Killin is a lovely riverside village with the famed Falls of Dochart, a regular feature on calendars. It is rural but gives easy road access to many areas of Scotland from Oban, Fort William, Stirling, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perthshire not to mention the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park

Beautiful scenery, quiet location.
Beautiful scenery, quiet location. The falls of Dochart are stunning. Well worth a visit to see them. There is also a golf course in Killin with stunning views of the surrounding area. Tucked away in the woods of Killin across from the cemetery you will find the ruins of Finlarig Castle which dates back to 11th century, also well worth a visit.

We stay here often, as its dog friendly and have always found it a nice place to stay, with friendly staff. Any problems, you only need to ask. Meals are good and fairly priced, as are the prices at the bar. Looking forward to our next stay.

It is situated in an area where it is within travelling distance to Loch Lomond. Oban, Glen Coe and Fort William al places we like to visit.
We ate dinner at The Luib Hotel on our arrival and it was excellent. We visited several other hotels and cafes and they were all good establishments. The staff at The Luid are always ready to answer any questions we had regarding places to visit. They are very helpful and the atmosphere they create in the lounge is unbeatable.

If your only issue is wi- fi then you don't have much of an issue. This Hotel caters for most clientele. The staff may I say are excellent. So many spaces to chill out both in the Hotel and surrounding area. Just a wonderful place to stay.
Perfect location in town. Lovely building with bags of atmosphere. Open fire in the restaurant and an unexpectedly good menu. Previous trips to Scotland have been disappointing with regard to food. Very impressed with the food here. We had Tempura Cauliflower and Haggis balls to start. All delicious and Venison casserole for our main course. The sticky toffee pudding was the best we have ever eaten. Served with a good quality ice cream.
The coffee shop attached to the hotel was also good.
Old world charm combined with modern rooms
.
Beautiful spot by the river, I was especially lucky to see it in the snow. Wonderful lights and Christmas decorations around the hotel. The breakfast staff were helpful and professional.
Warm, comfy room. Great shower. Comfy bed. Good tv.
No issues with my dog staying, as there often is when one stays at so-called "dog friendly" hotels.
They provided a room with a view, as I requested.
The location is absolutely excellent, near Killin and with a hill at the back to go wandering in, and a short drive from Highland Perthshire and many wonderful landscapes and monuments to see.
The grounds have sheep, ducks and chaffinches etc about the place.
There is a well-appointed kitchen, sheets were clean, and a reasonable amount of space in kitchen and living area. The WiFi was not bad. The staff seemed nice.
Almost 500 year old building with very intresting atmosphere and nice surrounding.
We stayed one night on our way from Skye to Edinburgh. It was a plus that you just stop next to the road and park your car with Option of dinner and breakfast. Bar inside the hotel.
The room was very clean.
The cottage was very well equipped with all we needed for a very comfortable stay. It was close to the Killin hotel where we enjoyed a lovely meal and was easy access to all the natural beauty of the village and surrounding area. Our host was friendly and most helpful.
The location in Killin was ideal and the property was pristine.
The 4 poster bed was very comfortable and the facilities were excellent.
Breakfast was cooked to perfection and the hosts Monica and Roman
went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
Lovely warm lodge in a stunning location. Watched deers and red squirrels outside whilst eating breakfast in the morning. It is situated in a great position for climbing those mountains ! Can walk to Killin for food and drink in 15 minutes.
Such a lovely big house in the centre of Killin and the reception could not have been warmer! I felt we were really looked after and catered for. The evening meal and breakfast were lush and catered well for dietary requirements. Loved it!
The house is in an ideal situation in the village. This is a truly beautiful house and was perfect for our family get-together, which consisted of 6 adults and 4 children. The bonus of the games room and large garden.
The Suie Hunting Lodge was beautifully decorated, comfortable, clean, funky and fun. We loved the little touches, the delicious breakfasts and the friendly hostess and host. The location was stunning!
Breakfast was good. Room was spacious and bright with views towards the river. Good location for hotel too, both for access to Killin and surrounding area. Staff were all very friendly and helpful
