Good, not great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.4 Stars; one of the few completely wireless headsets for XBOne and one of the most affordable, but lacking a bit in comfort. Sound quality is very good, I can't complain a bit about it. Two completely independent volume controls for voice and game audio, so you can tune it as accurately and (more importantly) as loudly as you like. No more mouth breathers or gum chewers blowing out your ears when you have the game audio cranked. Need to keep it quiet because the baby's in the room sleeping? No problem. I haven't tried any of the "advanced" settings. Battery life has been decent so far; I usually game for 2 to 3 hours at a time after dinner a couple nights a week, one charge will last me nearly the entire week and I never get a low battery notification. I can't say how long they last in one shot, but I doubt anyone is going to run them out, even in one marathon gaming session. Fit is good, the headband is snug (maybe a little too snug for my big head). Earcups are a synthetic leathery material and I don't care for it. Coming from the Sony Wireless headset with it's super plush padding and soft pleather, and older Tritton headsets with the fabric foam surrounds, these are stiff and just not as nice feeling. I haven't checked to see if I can replace the surrounds, but once I think about it I'll probably see if I can swap them out for something softer. Mic is good, though placement is tough; with the shape and where they plug into the 'phones it's right near your nose, so if you're not careful about placement you'll be breathing on the pickup or popping your 'P's pretty loudly. Not to mention it can get in the way of drinking/eating. If you're able to talk a normal to loud volume you can keep it clear away from your face, but if you're in a quiet environ you'll have to get it in close and mind your p's. Overall I'd say they're worth the money if you're not looking to drop big money on a headset. Sony's able to do it at $100 for the PS systems, why hasn't MS or some other company figured this out for XB?

Good headset for the price.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This headset is at a great price for what you get. Being all wireless with no chat cable anymore is really nice to have. The voice prompts are really nice to have as well. The only issue I have with this headset, which might make me return this is. It has a auto turn off feature that you can't turn off. It basically shuts off the headset after 10 mins of no audio or chatting (to save battery). My problem is, with this hooked up to my computer with that phone cable that comes with the headset. I always get a voice prompt saying the headset is going to shut off, please press and hold the power button to cancel this. It is really annoying because I am listen to music on my Itunes account and I have no idea why this wants to shut down when there is music playing. The only way to get rid of this is to play your music really loud on the headset. Otherwise it will want to auto shut down. But on the Xbox One it is no issue. Also when I use them on my PC for listen to music, I disconnect the mic. This issue really needs to be fixed. It's driving me crazy. lol But if you can live with the auto shut off feature, then you will be fine with this headset. Its a good gaming headset for 129.

Very good headset
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This headset is very good for gaming. Works good on Xbox and my pc. It can squeeze your head a bit until broken in when you first get them, but comfortable after. The sound quality is very good. I am a hardcore gamer and the battery lasts over a few days of gaming. One less star because it had a poor charge port but the newer models have fixed that problem.

Best Wireless Headset for Xbox One
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 3rd Turtle Beach headset I have owned, but the first for the Xbox One. This by far has been the best one I have chosen. The sound quality is excellent. It has different modes of sound to choose from depending on what game you are playing, separate dials that control game sound and voice chat sounds. The headset is very lightweight, I wear glasses and they don't push down very hard on the frames. The battery life is great, but if you do need to charge they do charge quickly and can be charged while still using. The install is a USB stick and you are done, no more messing with those silly transporters they use to use. This by far is the best wireless headset I have owned to date.

OUTSTANDING
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very good headset. The sound is really good the mic and voice chat work really well and it is very comfortable to wear. Its wireless but can also be used while charging and when not charging it has atleast a dozen hours of wireless play upto 15. its also a light weisght unit and doesn't feel cumbersome even after hours of use. The build quality is also pretty good. Overall I'm very pleased with this headset I use it for all my multiplayer and single player gaming its a very good product and I highly recommend for people who spend a lot of time on their xbox, as you can also watch movies and apps with this headset so its not just for games, again I highly recommend this headset

Great for the price!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was going to purchase a cheaper headset just because I am a penny pincher but I am glad I did not. This set is definitely worth the price as it was on sale and I had a $20 reward to use. I needed a new headset that was wireless as my cats like to bite through the cords. The sound is amazing, I am hearing things on my games I did not hear before with just the TV . It is comfortable and light and seems sturdy. I was hoping it was both PC and xbox one compatible but I could not find any info stating it was. Either way it was worth the buy!

Not bad but not great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned the X12 headphones for a while. Got the Xbox one and upgraded the headphones too. For the price I thought they'd be better than the X12. Wrong. Not as comfortable and the boom mic is not as good. But the sound quality is still good and over time you do get used to the fit on the head set. Battery life is excellent and set up is extremely simple. I'm sure there is better stuff out there but for the price and sound quality it's spot on.

Q: QuestionIs this headset completely wireless or does it have that one wire from the headset to the controller?
Asked by LB94.
- A:Answer It's completely wireless. The box comes with two wires, though, that have some function. First is the charging cable. It can plug into the USB port on the Xbox One or any USB port. So you'll need to plug the headset in to charge. Second is a Media-to-headset cable. This is used to plug your phone (or anything with a small headset jack) into the headphones. It allows you to listen to music, movies, etc. from your phone while you are also receiving Xbox and party chat wirelessly. I use it occasionally when I'm playing a game and not chatting with friends... will plug my phone into it so that I can listen to podcasts or my music. Hope that helps.
