Soft Centered Muffins

Ingredients:

  • Standard sweet muffin recipe

  • Barker’s Professional Patisserie Filling of choice

Method:

  1. Using a standard sweet muffin recipe fill the muffin cups to three quarters full.

  2. Pipe approximately 10 grams of any of the Barker’s Professional Patisserie Filling range into the centre of the muffin batter.

  3. Do not push the piping bag in too deep – it should not be touching the bottom of the muffin paper.

  4. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for approximately 16 to 18 minutes or until golden brown in colour.

MUFFIN IDEAS

  • Apricot Patisserie Filling as a soft centre. Sprinkle the top with flaked almonds before baking.

  • Toffee Apple Patisserie Filling as a soft centre. After baking drizzle the top with white chocolate.

  • Peach & Passionfruit Patisserie Filling as a soft centre. Sprinkle the top with castor sugar before baking.

  • Boysenberry Patisserie Filling as a soft centre with a crumble topping.

  • Raspberry Patisserie Filling as a soft centre. When baked insert white chocolate pieces in the centre.

  • Strawberry Patisserie Filling as a soft centre. When baked sprinkle the top with icing sugar.
