Cumulus, Cumulostratus and Altocumulus Clouds Populate The Big Blue Sky
A flock of small birds nearly flew right into my birdcam while up gazing upon the wall of Stratus clouds approaching from the distance. A heavy precipitation producing rain storm is heading our way from due West and can be seen in all the pictures facing West.
Ahead of the front, we have been experiencing warm spring-like weather today with highs near 70 Fahrenheit. The clouds in these photos reflect the majority of how the atmosphere had behaved today, sunny and beautiful.
Counting down the days to the big ski trip with the gang, @summerstime and @docroulston. 5 more days.
EPIC!
More photos to follow from today of the approaching rain front and broken sunset.
