All of these beaches look incredible! I’ve been to a lot of beaches in Spain, but these ones look so unique and definitely worth spending a day at.

You missed the best one – Spirits Bay! Pink tinged sand, clear blue sea, lush green hills and wild horses. The snow white sand of Great Exhibition Bay is something to behold too. Too many amazing beaches in Northland.

So many beaches in Northland. A perfect reminder to visit north of Auckland more often than we do now..

Beaches are always top of the list to travel lovers. I traveled to many countries and enjoy most of the beaches. It’s very good to see you explore all the beaches in Northland. As soon as I want to explore those beaches and enjoy the environment and sunset. The view from Ake Ake Point makes me exciting.

New Zealand has been my dream trip for ages! I always think of the mountains, but it makes sense that there are lots of fantastic beaches. I’m a little jealous of the first one you mentioned and your sunset picnics. That sounds like the perfect date.

Beautiful beaches! Your photo of Whale Bay reminds me of Italy’s Amalfi Coast. If it is, that would be my top choice! 🙂

I like that there are many different types of beach available. Some are secluded, some you have to walk through a forest to get to, some are hidden away and some are your typical beaches. Cape Reinga looks very nice. To me though any beach on sunset is just perfect.

New Zealand is currently on top of our overseas travel list! It is so beautiful and the perfect place for outdoor lovers. Such a shame it is so far from London. Gotta save up! 🙂

It’s hard to know which is my favorite – I love a good white sand beach, but the ones that are lined with trees are so beautiful too! (Plus, a little shade doesn’t hurt!)

Beautiful post, very well structured and paced. We were just talking to my cousin the other day and Bay of Islands came up as one of the “Must See” spots of New Zealand. Now I know about the backpacker vibe and can picture what it’s like.

What gorgeous beaches. This can be nothing else but paradise. Love the fact that all of them are so pristine and unspoiled. Each one seems to vie with each other to grab your attention and it is impossible to choose one over another. But somehow Whale Bay, Tutukaka endears itself to me the most, it looks straight out of paradise.
