    Julia Atkin is an independent education and learning consultant who works across education settings in Australia and internationally. She has a passion for learning and understanding how we learn. Julia’s initial research involved developing an understanding of the thinking processes involved in deep learning and in helping learners learn to learn.

     

    For over 30 years Julia has worked with teachers & school leaders across early childhood to tertiary settings to transform all facets of education from the industrial era to the knowledge era and the learning demands of 21C.

     

    She is a proud recipient of many awards including Assistant Director General's Award in recognition of Outstanding Educational Motivation and Development. Julia has been named as one of Australia’s Smart 100 – a list of one hundred people, ten in ten fields, making a difference to Australian society through innovation.

    VIMAL KISHORE

    management

     

    Mr. Vimal Kishore is a qualified Chartered Accountant for 30 + schools (likes of Welham boys and more) across India and holds a degree in Law. He has been nominated as a member of Regional Direct Active Advisory Committee by Chief commissioner of Income Tax.

     

    He has trained school principals on this intricate yet interesting & financially rewarding subject for past six years at IIT Delhi. He has been advising educational institutions on matters related to accounting, taxation, personnel compensation& allied areas.

     

    He is a prolific speaker and is frequently invited by various professional and academic bodies like IITs, ICAI, Doon University, etc. He has also conducted various programs for senior corporate executives of ONGC Limited, BSNL & UPSEB.

    INDRANIL GUPTA

    Co-creating philosophy through school branding

     

    Indranil Gupta, branding specialist and former ad agency chief, is an MBA (Marketing Major) from IIM Ahmedabad and a Chemistry Honours graduate from St Xavier’s College Mumbai. His forte is the strategic translation of business vision into brand story-telling and imaging.

     

    In his 35+ years of industry experience, he has spearheaded offices of 4 of the top-10 worldwide agency groups – BBDO, O&M, Lowe and JWT in India, before going onto Bahrain to head one of the Middle East’s premier branding agencies for 13 years. Some of the major brands he has been involved with include ITC, Adidas, Oral-B, Delhi Traffic Police, Bahrain Post, Batelco, Tech Mahindra, India Today Group, Unilever, VLCC, Tata Steel, ICI Paints, Luxor Pens, Kwality, Bata and Cambridge Schools, amongst many others. He was behind the Wills Books of Excellence series, the Wills Video on Cricket, and has authored several coffee table books.

     

    His consultancy, BrandNEW, provides stewardship on brand strategy and culturing for corporates as well as educational institutions, start-up companies and new projects.

     

    He has been Vice President of the Delhi Advertising Club, has taught Marketing Communication Strategy at MBA programmes, written regular columns in Brand Equity and has run workshops in India and abroad. An avid music enthusiast and linguist, he is passionate about writing, travelling, sports, movies and design.

    SHISHIR JOSHI

    Shishir Joshi is an Experienced Trainer, Coach, Mentor and Counselor in his various avatars.

     

    Shishir Joshi has been associated as a Journalist, team Leader and senior Management member with respected brands like NDTV, CNN.com, TV Today, Indian Express and MiD-DAY, over the last 25 years, in his editorial avatar.

     

    He quit Journalism practice, choosing to teach and train. He is now founder trustee of Engage the Citizen Foundation which empowers citizens. In a not profit hat, he has groomed over a 1000 Citizen Journalists across seven states.Shishir is a lawyer by education, a post graduate in Communication. He is a Chevening fellow of the British Government, in Broadcast journalism.

     

    Shishir is Chairman of Muskaan Sharing Smiles, a not for profit engaged in day care and education of under-privileged children.

     

    In a full-time role Shishir is also the CEO of Bombay First, also known as Mumbai First, a unique not for profit model of Public Private Participation which aims at making Mumbai a better place to live, work and play, for its citizens.

    Having done his schooling from The Doon School, Dehradun, Dr. Harish Chaudhry, holds a B.Tech from IIT, Kanpur, PGDBM from IIM Bangalore and a Ph.D from IIT Delhi.

     

    He is the pioneer of the movement on value education and good education practices which started as a workshop in IIT Delhi and now has touched more than 4000 school Principals from India and Abroad in the form of Principal Training Programs, International Study Tours and Teacher Training Programs.

    In a career spanning over 40 years, he had been the principal of a rural residential school run especially for farmer’s children and Delhi Public Schools for Pus employee’s children in India; Principal of school offering National curriculum of England and finally the Executive Principal of a large Indian School in the Middle East.
