Muriwai Elopement

One of the ultimate forms of flattery as a photographer is when your couples leave the planning of their wedding day in your hands. When these guys reached out and said they were planning to elope and wanted a private spot for their ceremony – I knew just the place.
Not being from Auckland, they had only ever seen photos of Muriwai Beach that we had shared online so it was incredibly cool (and a little daunting!) to be able to share my favourite places with them.

We were able to plan the timing of the day to coincide with that perfect sunset light, and the crashing waves down at the Muriwai cliffs made for the most incredible backdrop.
