Makeup-free Janice Dickinson, 68, hits gym with husband following reality show accident

Janice Dickinson made a rare, makeup-free appearance in Los Angeles on Tuesday – one year after suffering a facial injury on the set of a reality show.

The former supermodel, 68, showed off her au naturel face and toned frame while hitting the gym with her husband, Dr. Robert Gerner.

Dickinson appeared sporty and chic in a cropped taupe tee and gray leggings, which she paired with pink trainers and a matching hair scrunchie for the sweaty workout.

She accessorized with a string of pearls and several silver diamond necklaces, along with her glittering wedding ring on her manicured hands.

Dickinson and Gerner looked loved up as they headed inside the gym with Starbucks cups in hand – and the doctor’s arm sweetly wrapped around his wife’s waist.

Gerner, whom she wed in 2016, also donned activewear, including a black Equinox tee, workout shorts, high socks and white Nike sneakers.

The sweet couple spent an hour working out, where Dickinson was pictured working her muscles on the rowing machine and doing floor exercises with weights.

Before tying the knot with Gerner, the brunette beauty said “I do” three other times. She was married to Albert Gersten from 1995 to 1996, Simon Fields from 1987 to 1993 and Ron Levy from 1977 to 1979.

The couple’s latest outing comes 15 months after the television personality suffered a scary fall on the British reality show ”I’m a Celebrity… South Africa,” which left her fearing she’d “never work again.”

Dickinson was looking for a toilet in the dark when she tripped and fell on her face.

“I walked a couple of steps and tripped, flying flat on my face — hair all over my forehead, my nose was bloody, and my whole chin was gashed open,” she told The Sun following the incident in May 2022.

“Blood was gushing from all these areas, and there was dirt and stones embedded in my face from the fall,” she went on.

“All I could feel was an intense head pain — from one to 10 it was about a nine — and I was just lying there, moaning. It was a freak accident that happened so quickly.”

Her co-stars Fatima Whitbread and Phil Tufnell found her on the ground and took her to the on-site medic.

The former “America’s Next Top Model” judge was given pain relief before being transported in an ambulance to a “tiny hospital in the middle of nowhere” while the crew called her husband.

“I thought, ‘Geez, I’ll never work again,'” she said of seeing her injuries for the first time.

“I thought that because I was badly damaged. Certainly too damaged to go back on the show,” Dickinson explained. “I had blood, bruises up and down my face and there were gaping wounds. It really knocked my confidence.”

Although she was forced to leave the all-stars season of the popular ITV show, Dickinson said the production team took great care of her.

“For medical reasons, I had weeks and weeks and weeks of the doctors putting red light laser on my face to help shrink the wounds and it worked,” she said.

“Look, I don’t have any scars on my face. Not one. ITV didn’t turn their backs on me for one minute.”
