For the last three days Emma Roberts has been talking about her new movie all over Twitter — but I don’t mean “Twelve” (the Chace Crawford druggie drama out July 2). “Up early for a day of press for #4321,” was just one of the counting down themed Tweets she served up, making me think Emma had either A) lost her marbles or B) starred in some under-the-radar indie. Luckily it’s the second since it turns out she has another cinematic numerical offering in the pipeline. .
“4. 3. 2. 1.” is a British crime thriller, in which Emma plays Jo — a young girl whose stagnant life suddenly gets an adrenaline shot to the heart after getting mixed up with a diamond heist. It promises to be the first big step on Emma’s adventure from small screen girl to big screen woman — and I for one am ready to ride shotgun on the journey.
