Mayra Veronica is a Cuban-American model whose international fame led to a solo recording career, which she began in 2006 with the independently released full-length album Vengo con To'. Featuring production by Kike Santander, the album was written primarily by Roy Tavaré and was re-released in 2007 with bonus material and a new cover image. While Vengo con To' failed to spawn a major hit single, Veronica got her first taste of commercial success as a singer with the hit single "Es Tan Dificil" in 2008. Two versions of the song were released, one of them a reggaeton remix featuring De la Ghetto. ~ Jason Birchmeier
