Royal Challengers Bengaluru are the only team who is almost out of the playoff race, having lost 7 matches in the 17th season.

The Indian Premier League 2024 has entered the business end, and the franchises are fighting hard to remain among the top-performing outfits to boost their chances of qualifying for the playoffs.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru are the only team who is almost out of the playoff race, having lost 7 matches in the 17th season. Former Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings player, Harbhajan Singh, singled-out the bowling unit of the Bengaluru-based franchise as the main reason behind the poor performance since 2008.

“They score 200 runs, but they allow rivals to chase down 200 runs. RCB have a history of being a poor bowling unit. Bengaluru don”t have bowlers, who can win matches. This story is getting repeating season after season,” Harbhajan Singh said on Star Sports.

Bhajji further said that RCB will have to back themselves if they want to beat Sunrisers Hyderabad.

“RCB will have to first start believing that they can do it. If the players don’t back themselves, they can’t win matches for the team. Bengaluru have a chance to beat Hyderabad but the players will have to come forward and say they are ready,” he added.
