A little more than your average grocery-getter, cycle trucks have been around for some time- Worksman has been making theirs in the USA since 1898. Some of the best retro trucks I’ve come across have been old Schwinn models but clean ones are hard to come by, I’m sure most of them have been worked to death. This particular bike I came across has a wooden Bethlehem Steel crate attached to it, I can’t imagine the loads it has had to transport in it’s prime. Contemporary builders and companies offering their own versions include Ahearne, Civia, and Workcycles.
