This Ford Mustang S197 2005-2014 got away, but there are more like it here.
This 2005 Ford Mustang GT Premium convertible was initially delivered to Waldorf Ford, Inc. in Maryland, and it remained registered in the state until it was acquired by the seller in May 2022. Finished in Mineral Grey Metallic over Dark Charcoal leather upholstery, the car is powered by a 4.6-liter SOHC V8 linked with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a decklid spoiler, a black convertible top, 17″ split-spoke aluminum wheels, air conditioning, cruise control, and Shaker 1000 audio linked to a six-disc CD stereo. Work performed under current ownership is said to have involved overhauling the instrument cluster as well as changing the battery and the oil. This S197 convertible is now offered at no reserve with a Deluxe Marti report, manufacturer’s literature, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean North Carolina title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Mineral Grey Metallic (TK) with a black soft top. Features include a decklid spoiler, fog lights, and dual stainless-steel exhaust outlets. The seller notes corrosion on the leading edge of the hood along with scrapes on the spoiler.
Machine-finished 17″ split-spoke aluminum wheels were mounted with 235/55 General G-Max AS-05 tires in 2017. The car is equipped with traction control, front and rear stabilizer bars, and four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes.
The front bucket seats and the rear bench seat are upholstered in Dark Charcoal leather, and silver-finished trim accents the color-coordinated dashboard. Appointments include air conditioning, cruise control, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, and a Shaker 1000 audio system linked to a factory stereo with an in-dash six-disc CD changer. The seller states that the driver-side and passenger-side airbags were replaced in 2017 and 2018, respectively.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 145-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 65k miles, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership. The seller states that the instrument cluster was rebuilt in March 2023.
The 4.6-liter SOHC V8 features three valves per cylinder and was factory rated at 300 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque. The seller states that the oil was changed in April 2023, while the battery was replaced in May 2023.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
The Deluxe Marti Report displays initial delivery to Waldorf Ford Inc. in Waldorf, Maryland, along with the factory equipment, colors, and a March 2, 2005 build date. Manufacturer’s literature, two sets of keys, and service records will also accompany the car.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Maryland and North Carolina.
