This Toyota FJ Cruiser got away, but there are more like it here.
This 2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser is powered by a 4.0-liter 1GR-FE V6 linked with a six-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and locking rear and center differentials. It is finished in Iceberg over Dark Charcoal and Gray cloth and features a Prinsu roof rack, Fox Racing adjustable coilovers, 16″ Volk Racing TE37X wheels, Demello rock sliders, and a TRD short shifter, exhaust system, and skid plate along with A-TRAC traction control, a receiver hitch, a backup camera, a six-disc CD stereo, cruise control, and air conditioning. The seller acquired the truck on BaT in March 2023, and it was subsequently featured on BaT in May 2023. Work performed under current ownership included repairing a transfer case leak, changing the fluids, replacing the front brake pads, and addressing a low-pressure fuel pump recall. This FJ Cruiser has 150k miles and is offered at no reserve with the owner’s manual, service records, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The truck is finished in Iceberg and features a Prinsu roof rack, Demello Offroad rock sliders, a rear window wiper, a receiver hitch, a TRD skid plate, and a body mount chop kit. The Carfax report shows that the front of the truck was damaged in a rear-end collision in 2014, the front and left front were damaged in July 2018, and the right side of the truck was damaged in October 2020. The right-front fender and A-pillar were reportedly repainted under previous ownership to address the damage. A broken clip is noted under the left headlight along with a scuff on the right rear fender flare.
Black-finished 16” Volk Racing TE37X wheels are mounted with 315/75 BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 tires, and a matching spare is mounted to the swing-away tailgate. The truck is equipped with Active Traction Control (A-TRAC), and an adjustable Fox Racing coilover suspension is fitted along with a Panhard correction kit. The front brake pads were replaced and the rotors were resurfaced in March 2023, at which time the brake and power steering fluids were flushed.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a 60/40-split folding rear bench upholstered in Dark Charcoal and Gray cloth. Additional equipment includes a TRD short shifter, a rearview camera, a six-disc CD stereo, cruise control, keyless entry, and air conditioning. The driver-side window switch panel has a broken clip and a rear-compartment trim piece is missing.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for voltage, coolant temperature, and fuel level. A dash-mounted auxiliary gauge pod houses a compass, digital clock, and inclinometer. The digital odometer indicates 150k miles.
The 4.0-liter 1GR-FE V6 was factory rated at 260 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque and is equipped with an aftermarket aluminum radiator. The oil and coolant were changed under current ownership, the mass airflow sensor and throttle body were cleaned, and the low-pressure fuel pump was replaced due to a manufacturer recall.
Power is routed to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and locking rear and center differentials. A TRD exhaust system is fitted. The clutch components, flywheel, and throw-out bearing were reportedly replaced at approximately 130k miles, and a transfer case leak was repaired under current ownership at which time the transmission, transfer case, and differential lubricants were changed.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned 2014, 2018, and 2020 damage entries and lists registration history in Arizona and California.
