This 1980 Subaru GLF 1800 coupe was purchased by the seller’s parent in 1981, and ownership was transferred to the seller’s sibling in April 2010. It is finished white over blue cloth upholstery and powered by a 1.8-liter flat-four paired with a three-speed automatic transaxle. The car is said to have spent the past 25 years in storage, and recent service reportedly included replacing the water pump and fan belt as well as performing an oil change. Equipment includes a landau roof cover, an aftermarket sunroof, air conditioning, and a Panasonic AM/FM cassette stereo. This GLF coupe is offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of the current owner with a clean Colorado title in the owner’s name.

White-painted 13″ steel wheels wear trim rings and Subaru center caps and are mounted with Goodyear tires. A full-size spare is housed in the engine compartment. The tires show dry rot, and rust is visible on the wheels.

The front bucket seats and rear bench are upholstered in blue cloth and joined by color-coordinated carpets and door panels. The dashboard wears a dash mat and silver trim, while additional amenities include air conditioning and a Panasonic AM/FM cassette stereo. The dashboard is cracked, wear is visible on the carpets, and the vinyl on the outer side of the driver’s seat is torn.

The four-spoke steering wheel wears an aftermarket cover and fronts an 85-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, fuel level, and voltage. The six-digit odometer shows 24k miles, approximately 10k of which have been added under current family ownership. The brake fluid and stop lamp warning lights are illuminated, and the fuel level sending unit needs to be replaced.

The 1.8-liter flat-four features a single carburetor, and service in 2022 reportedly included replacing the water pump and fan belt in addition to performing an oil change. The seller states the fuel system needs to be flushed, a full fluid service needs to be performed, and the carburetor requires a rebuild.

Power is sent to the front wheels through a three-speed automatic transaxle. Additional photos of the underside are included in the gallery below.

The car is titled in the state of Colorado but not currently registered. The VIN on the title omits the “JF” portion shown on the chassis plate and lists the 15th digit as an 8 rather than a 3. A redacted image of the title is shown in the gallery.
