Integrate with document security systems New!
The Mini can crawl and serve search results for sites protected by HTTP Basic and NTLM v1 and v2 security and can integrate with your LDAP system. The new Mini release enables both authentication and authorization at serve time, so you can make sure individual users see only the results they have clearance to access. If you require integration with other security systems, including single sign-on systems, you should consider the Google Search Appliance.

To that end, the Mini's search relevance technology automatically considers over 100 different factors when determining search results, eliminating the need for costly and confusing manual search customization. The Mini can automatically detect sections of your site that change and crawl them more frequently, or you can schedule the Mini to crawl across all of your content on a recurring basis.
Minimal ongoing administration
Once configured, the Google Mini can be set to intelligently crawl your content as data changes, using its continuous crawl feature, or you can set it to index content on an ongoing basis. But if you need to make any changes or feel like checking in while away, the Mini's web-based interface gives you full remote access to all administrator functionality – even if you're away on vacation in a tropical paradise.
